JetSupport celebrates her 5th anniversary.
After the management buy out in August 2002, JetSupport celebrates her 5th year as independent maintenance provider for business and corporate aircraft. Where the highly motivated staff grew from the initial 6 who joined the big step to 30 men and women supporting the enormous grow in the high demanding industry. Turnover grew with close to 50% annually and profitability guaranties further investments in capabilities and our never ending aim to reach for the highest quality standard possible. To accommodate both EASA legislation requirement and new request from the market, an extensive multi year training program will keep our staff up to speed.
Since the Coastguard operation returned from Den Helder Airport back to Amsterdam, our current facilities at Amsterdam [1700 m2] and Eindhoven [1500m2] is becoming to tight to accommodate further growth, for expansion JetSupport will look at the adjacent hangar and a new hangar project has started at Rotterdam Airport.

New Falcon 50EX contract signed with Solid aiR.
Fully in line with the growth of the Solid aiR operation of business aircraft, JetSupport signed a contract to provide full maintenance services and hangarage for a Dassault Falcon 50EX. The whole project started in December 2006, with a request from the current owner to surge for such an aircraft. The aircraft, incorporated in the JAR OPS operation of Solid aiR on behalf of the owner, was complete refurbished, repainted and converted from an FAA registration towards the EASA legislation prior the delivery with Dassault Service Centre in Wilmington, USA.

Coastguard operation returns to EHAM.
The Dutch State decided to return her Coastguard operation from Den Helder Airport back to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. JetSupport as the full maintenance provider since January 2003 had to close her Den Helder facility. The Operation consists of one Dornier 228 aircraft [PH-MNZ] awaiting her replacement by two newer aircraft of the same type expected Q3 2007. Main reasons for the State to return were the larger 24/7 capabilities of Amsterdam.

Second Dornier 328 under contract with JetSupport.
JetSupport signed a contract with Solid aiR for the second Dornier 328 turbo prop [PH-EVY] in her JAR-Ops operation. Different from the first, where the interior was changed from the original 32 airline seats to 19 full business class seats, is the new aircraft equipped with 12 very luxurious clubseats.
Press release December 2006:
JetSupport is granted with an full ground handling concession by the Amsterdam Airport Authorities.
As a commitment to customer’s requests, JetSupport will extend her services toward the ground handling activities at the Business Aviation section at Schiphol-east. Thereto an application was filed and when audited by the Airport Authorities’ requirements, found in line, a concession was granted. Awaiting the realisation of the long expected new Business Aviation Terminal, JetSupport will further invest in the required organisation and equipment.

JetSupport omzetverdubbeling met goed resultaat
SCHIPHOL - JetSupport, gespecialiseerd in vliegtuigonderhoud van zakenjets op Schiphol, bestaat deze maand drie jaar. In de drie jaar dat zij actief zijn is het aantal klanten toegenomen tot 25 en is de omzet meer dan verdubbeld. Hoe hoog de omzet en winst is maakt het bedrijf niet bekend. De organisatie is gespecialiseerd in het onderhoud van de Amerikaanse Cessna Citation Zakenjets en de Falcons van het Franse Dassault, maar voert ook het onderhoud uit aan diverse andere typen vliegtuigen.
Directeur Ton van Deursen en Maintenance Manager Pieter Boeter namen het bedrijf in 2002 over van de Duitse en Nederlandse aandeelhouders. Sindsdien is JetSupport is ook activiteiten op Den Helder Airport vanwege het Kustwachtvliegtuig dat is overgenomen van Martinair. Het vliegtuigonderhoudbedrijf laat verder weten ook te kijken naar uitbreiding op andere luchthavens waaronder Rotterdam Airport.
Naast de business Aviation activiteiten ontvangt het bedrijf aanvragen om ook het lijnonderhoud te gaan verzorgen voor Fokker en Airbus vliegtuigen. Ton van Deursen: “ Op korte termijn willen we hierover een beslissingen nemen.
JetSupport is optimistisch gestemd over de toekomst blijkens het feit dat ze is begonnen met de werving van extra gespecialiseerde technici.
